Make the Diagnosis: Sheโ€™s Too Young for Lines on Her Face

MedpageToday

Presentation

A 9-year-old girl was brought to the doctor by her mother after noticing a rash that had developed on the girlโ€™s face over the past week. On examination, a fine, scaly, pigmented plaque with pink and violaceous hues was seen on her forehead. The lesion had a linear configuration. The patient and her family had a history of atopy, but she was otherwise healthy, had no systemic symptoms, and appeared well.
