Make the Diagnosis: A Skin Fold Wrinkle

MedpageToday

Presentation

An obese 46-year-old man went to the doctor complaining of a painful skin lesion located between folds of skin that were touching each other. Looking in the mirror, he could see the area was very red and erythematous. Sometimes it felt like a burning sensation on his skin. He noticed it the most after being outside in the hot, humid weather.
